Paying online?

The City of Denver recently implemented a security enhancement to better protect our online payment processing system.  As a result of this enhancement, we are no longer able to accept payments from non-current browsers. If you are using an older browser version, please upgrade your browser to the most current version so that you can access the online payment service.

The Emerging Leaders Program

The Emerging Leaders Program is designed exclusively for City and County of Denver's employees who aspire to promote to a first line supervisory position. The Emerging Leaders Program is designed for non-supervisory employees as an introduction to the roles and responsibilities of supervision. The program is intended to bring awareness and understanding of the expectations of first-line supervision and the skills and abilities that are needed to succeed in this role.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrates leadership within their organization
  • Demonstrates the STARS values
  • Exhibits a strong interest in pursuing a supervisory role
  • Contributes significantly to their organization
  • Is in good standing without any recent disciplinary actions (within the past two years)
  • Received a rating of successful or higher on the last annual performance evaluation
  • Meets minimal qualifications to promote to a first-line supervisory position

Citywide Emerging Leaders Program

The City and County of Denver offers two Emerging Leaders Programs (ELP): one specifically for those who work at Denver International Airport; the other for employees in other departments and agencies throughout the city. Only DEN employees will be considered for the program at the airport, and only employees in the other departments and agencies will be considered for the citywide ELP. If you’d like more information about the 2018 selection process for the citywide program, please speak with your manager after February 12.
