DDPHE Public Hearing: Proposed Emergency Medical Requirements Permit for Special Events

The City and County of Denver's Department of Public Health and Environment (DDPHE) has proposed new rules and regulations governing emergency medical planning for public events held on public property in the city and county of Denver. 

The purpose of the new requirements is to support appropriate emergency medical planning and coordination that can help mitigate potential hazards and vulnerabilities at special events. The key component of the requirement will be the development of a Health and Medical Plan (HMP) for all public events held on public property. 

Denver's Board of Public Health and Environment will meet and hear public comments on the proposed Emergency Medical Requirements Permit on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 5:30 p.m. at the Denver Animal Shelter at 1241 W. Bayaud Ave.
