MAKE A SUSTAINABLE DENVER SUMMIT 2018 COMMITMENT TO ACTION

Instructions on How To Make Your Commitment

Thank you for considering making a commitment to help Denver become more sustainable.
Commitments are made by completing the Online Commitment Form, below.

You may also submit the form via e-mail, to sustainability@denvergov.org, or by mailing it to the:

Denver Office of Sustainability
101 W. Colfax, Suite 800
Denver, CO 80202

Commitment Requirements

A commitment must:

  • Be submitted through the commitment form, with all questions answered.
  • Describe an action that the entity or entities making the commitment will undertake.
  • Be a new action, or an improvement on existing actions (e.g. bigger, faster, etc.).
  • Be started in 2019 or 2020 and take no longer than two years.
  • Help Denver achieve a 2020 Sustainability Goals, or become more sustainable in other ways.

Please note: a promise to develop a plan, by itself, does not constitute a commitment, but a promise to implement or provide material support to implementing a plan does.

All commitments meeting these requirements will be highlighted in some way at the Sustainable Denver Summit on December 5, 2019. Commitments that will be highlighted in a big way at the Summit will have one or more of the following characteristics:

  • Their impact would be relatively large.
  • They have a high likelihood of completion.
  • They provide particular benefits to the most vulnerable residents of Denver.
  • They represent a large multi-party collaboration.

If you have questions about how to make a commitment, or need help filling out the Commitment Form, please feel free to contact any member of the staff of the Denver Office of Sustainability:
