A reminder...

It will soon be time to “Spring Forward!”

Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at 2 am. If you work overnight on Saturday, March 11th, you will physically work one hour less due to the time change. Please speak with your supervisor about working an additional hour; using an hour of leave time; or receiving an hour of unpaid time.

Making up the hour…

If you and your supervisor determine that you will make up the hour, please follow the guide below to avoid earning any overtime or compensatory time.

If you:

- Begin your shift on Saturday, March 11th, before 12 midnight; you should make up the hour between March 6th – March 11th (you can come in an hour earlier on March 11th).

- Begin your shift on Sunday, March 12th, after midnight but before 2 am, you should make up the hour between March 12th – March 17th (you can stay an hour later on March 12th).
