Connected Colorado

- A statewide look at community topics

Saving lives is job one for our community 911 call centers.  Learn about what’s new with 911, plus, Citizen Emergency Response Training, and the most dangerous rolling gun battle in the history of the Denver Police Department, on this edition of Connected Colorado!

Weekdays: Mon., 11:30 a.m.; Tues. 12:30 p.m.; Wed., 4:30 p.m. & 9:30 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m.;  Fri., Noon;

Weekends: Sun., 9 a.m. & 8:30 p.m

Denver Loft Sessions

Local Performers Featured in an Intimate Studio Setting.

Sept 4 – 17, Entertainment coverage expands as Slam Poetry comes to Denver 8. Denver Poets ranging in age from 17 to 50 deliver inspiring work on the Loft Sessions stage for a powerful & entertaining episode.

Sept 18 – Oct 1, Two-Fisted Tango is an emerging trio making and playing energetic indie music.  Their sound centers around mainstream rock, classic punk, and a good dose of melodic gravity.

Weekends: Fri. at 8 & 11:30 p.m.; Sat. 11:30 a.m. & 11:00 p.m.; Sunday at 9 p.m.;

Weekdays: Tuesday at 3 p.m.; Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.

Denver Press Club

- Media notables talk about their craft

The best behind-the-scenes story, never told until now; the Pete Rose-Ray Fosse home plate collision. DENNY DRESSMAN tells the tale in  “Heard But Not Seen: Richard Nixon, Frank Robinson and The All-Star Game’s Most Debated Play.”

- The Denver District Attorney tackles legal topics

The idea of a family justice center is about to become a reality in Denver. We’ve talked about the services that will be available, and now we will talk about the bricks and mortar behind the Rose Andom Center. Rob Mierau with Milender White Construction joins Denver DA Mitch Morrissey on this edition.

- Local and Breaking Acts Featured at “Film on the Rocks”

Trout Steak Revival’s brand of heartfelt songwriting blends dynamic musicianship with intricately woven harmonies, all tied together with the unmistakable sound of their years of friendship. Keeping an eye on traditions of the past but boldly forging into new territory, Trout Steak takes us back to memories of whiskey, laughter, and the misty high country where the band was born..
