Crime Alert - Update on hit & run, entrance to East High School

On February 28, 2013, at about 4:30 a.m. a female came into the District 6 police station stating she is the one police are looking for in relation to the Hit and Run accident that occurred at Colfax Avenue and Elizabeth Street on February 27th. The woman was identified as 31 year old Erin Nicole Jackson. She was later arrested for investigation of Careless Driving Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, and Leaving the Scene of a Accident with Serious Bodily Injury.Download Crime Alert.

Crime Alert - hit & run, entrance to East High School

On February 27, 2013 at approximately 7:07 a.m., a JUVENILE pedestrian was crossing E Colfax Ave, at Elizabeth St from the south curb to the north in the crosswalk. While the juvenile was crossing E Colfax Ave, a GRAY 4 door sedan, pictured left, which was traveling eastbound, failed to stop for the red light and hit the juvenile and then fled the scene. On February 18, 2012 at approximately 3:40 pm, the suspect pictured left entered the Conoco Gas Station at 412 N Federal Blvd and demanded cash from the register at gunpoint.

Crime Alert - robbery of Treasured Scarab, 25 E Dakota Ave

On January 26, 2013 at approximately 4:00 pm, the suspect pictured left entered The Treasured Scarab at 25 E Dakota Ave in Denver and attempted to rob the cashier at gunpoint.  The suspect is described as a Hispanic Male, 12-15 years old, 5’02” with a heavy build. Download Crime Alert.

Crime Alert - Hit & Run at Federal Blvd and Florida Ave

On January 10, 2013, at approximately 9:05 p.m. a dark colored 2004-2005 Subaru Impreza WRX struck a pedestrian at Federal Blvd. and Florida Avenue.
