Fundraiser for Traffic Safety

DENVER – Thursday, October 3, 2019 – The Denver Police Department’s Leetsdale Cop Shop is hosting the first-ever “Dancing with the Cops Fundraiser and Silent Auction”. This fundraiser offers an opportunity for residents to dance with Denver Police officers from District Three to music by the 9s a Pair Band, and an auction.

The funds raised will go towards driver speed feedback signs, with the goal of reducing drivers’ speed and increasing traffic safety in the district. This fun and entertaining event is for all ages. Tickets are $20 and are available at the door or in advance by mailing a check to Leetsdale Cop Shop, PO Box 22642, Denver CO 80222.

Dancing with the cops will take place from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 5, 2019, at 595 South Clinton Street, in Denver.

The Leetsdale Cop Shop is a community service organization, which provides crime prevention resources and has been serving District Three for the past 17 years.  It is a stand-alone, non-profit staffed by civilian volunteers, under the supervision of the Denver Police Department's Volunteers in Police Service Program.
