Denver Police Make Arrests in Two Homicide Cases

Denver – Tuesday, August 13, 2019 – The Denver Police Department announces arrests in two separate homicide cases that occurred over the past several days.

On Monday night, August 12, 2019, Denver Police arrested Elliott McDuffie (DOB 7/17/93) for Investigation of First Degree Murder and Investigation of First Degree Assault related to a shooting that occurred at approximately 1:50 a.m., on Friday, August 9, 2019, in the 12400 block of East Albrook Drive. Officers responding to that initial shooting/ShotSpotter call located two victims, who were both transported to the hospital. An adult female victim was later pronounced deceased and an adult male victim suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries. McDuffie’s arrest affidavit and booking photo are attached.

Denver Police also arrested Sean Landrock (DOB 11/22/93) for Investigation of First Degree Murder related to a fatal shooting that occurred at 8000 E. 12th Ave. On Monday, August 12, 2019, at about 4:15 p.m., Denver Police officers responded to that location on a reported shooting and located a deceased adult female victim in an apartment. After obtaining a search warrant, further investigation confirmed the woman was the victim of a shooting that appears to be domestic violence-related. Investigators identified Landrock as the suspect, and officers located and took him into custody on Monday evening. Landrock’s booking photo is attached; the arrest affidavit is sealed and not available for release.
