43rd Avenue and Sherman Street Storm Drain

This project is the construction of a new storm drain at the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Sherman Street in the Globeville neighborhood.  This intersection has long been prone to ponding and flooding and has received numerous neighborhood complaints.  The new storm pipe will be built in Sherman Street and connect to an existing undersized storm system at 44th Avenue and Sherman Street.  The project was identified in the 2014 storm water master plan and is compatible with planned future upgrades to the storm infrastructure in the area.

Construction Complete!

Final paving is scheduled to be completed on Friday, August 23. The area should see improved storm drainage during heavy storms.

Thank you for your patience during construction!
