Adopt a Pet

Denver Animal Shelter has many wonderful animals available for adoption! View our online database of adoptable pets or stop by to see our animals in person. We constantly have new animals coming to the shelter. Keep in mind that adoptions occur frequently and we can not guarantee the availability of  an animal listed online. The shelter's adoption package includes the adoption fee, spay or neuter cost, vaccinations, and a one-year pet license.

Transfer Partners

To assist Denver Animal Shelter in the placement of homeless animals, we have several cooperative partnerships with Colorado rescues groups, humane societies, and shelters. These partners assist DAS by giving these transfer animals extra TLC prior to placing them up for adoption.

Beau (A229404)
DAS adoptable dog, Beau

Beau is very friendly and very interested in exploring. He might really enjoy scent work. He is very food motivated which will make teaching him manners much easier. He can be overbearing with some dogs and as such is likely to do best without any dogs in the home. Beau's new owner should expect to train him a little every day.
