Career Interest Inventory
Cost:
$60 (includes the Strong Interest Inventory career assessment valued at $250.00) 

Defining what you want and how to use available resources to get there is critical in managing your career. Only you can define what you want and how to use the city’s resources to get there. Only you can define success and make it happen. Take advantage of career opportunities and reach your potential. Create an individual career plan that identifies career options to incorporate your interests, skills, work values, and style preferences. This one day workshop presents a proven process for defining career goals and options in the City and County of Denver.
  
Interviewing Techniques
Cost:
$30 
 
It’s not what you know; it’s what you did with what you know. Learn techniques on behavioral interviews that many organizations are using to interview potential applicants. Demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and abilities by giving specific examples from your past experiences.  You will also learn how to conducat informational interviews as you prepare for your career.
 
Resume Magic
Cost:
$30 (includes disk and a half day computer class geared towards developing your resume) 

Putting your knowledge, skills and abilities in order to land an interview is essential as you pursue a career.  Knowing what an employer is looking for is crucial.  Master techniques that can guide you to look outside of the box and make a lasting impression.  Let your resume stand out by showing you are the right person for the job.

Test Anxiety
Cost: $20 City employees, $25 non-city employees
