 Wellness Champions Update Minimize

Denver Wellness would like to thank our wellness champions!

On Wednesday, February 26th, wellness champions enjoyed a lovely breakfast, provided by Kaiser Permanente with drinks from United Healthcare. Denver Wellness took this opportunity to shared our new wellness plan with the champions. They asked wonderful questions and gave us great feedback about the new program. Denver Wellness would not be able to succeed without the help and support of our champions. Thanks champs!!

Wellness Champions represent their agencies at quarterly meetings with the wellness staff. They give us recommendations, suggestions and input about how our programs are doing. If you would like to become a wellness champion for your agency, please send us an email at wellness@denvergov.org

 Denver Wellness Program Minimize

This year, be the best you can be!

Denver Wellness can help!

COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES TO MAKE $240 in December: Earn $240 in December for participating in the new Denver Wellness Program!

Follow three easy steps by October 31st, 2014! Start the year right by striving to be your best!

1. Make an appointment with your primary care physician for your annual check up.

2. Complete the online health assessment through your city sponsored health care provider (Denver Health, Kaiser Permanente or UnitedHealthcare).

3. Schedule and report the required tests for your age and gender.

Watch your mail for more information from your healthcare provider! Wellness Program Incentive Requirements

For full instructions and FAQ, click here!

Kaiser members will only need to make an appointment with their primary care provider if certain screenings are out of date, otherwise Kaiser members can schedule directly with the medical office providing the screening (for example, if a member needs a colonoscopy, he would make an appointment with the Gastroenterology Department). Visit your online medical record for more information about your screenings.

United and Denver Health members who have visited their doctors since October 1, 2013, will still need to have their reports signed by a physician.

If you do not have insurance through the City, you are not eligible for the $240 incentive this year. You must be employed by the City in December, when the incentives are disbursed, in order to receive the incentive.
