Red Rocks Park and the Mount Morrison Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Camp today were designated National Historic Landmarks by the National Park Service and Department of the Interior. The designation recognizes sites that possess exceptional value and quality in illustrating or interpreting the heritage of the United States.

Starting Saturday, residents from across the city will come together for the third annual Denver Days. Mayor Michael B. Hancock’s signature outreach effort brings neighbors together to celebrate the Denver spirit through social gatherings and community service projects. This year, Denver Days runs from August 1 - 9 and will showcase the character and vibrancy of Denver’s 78 unique neighborhoods.
